Genesee Center for the Arts needs volunteers for set up, chili servers, check-in, bowl room attendants, drink servers, clean up, and a few miscellaneous tasks. These shifts are: 2:00 – 4:00, 4:00 – 6:00, 6:00 – 8:00. We also need several volunteers to pick up chili, ideally, one driver with two runners to carry pots, per car. Shifts for pick-up are: 12:00 - 2:00 and 2:00 - 4:00.
These shifts are not set in stone, so if you’re available for only an hour or two during any of these times just let me know. Volunteers eat for free! You can purchase a handmade bowl for $15 if you'd like. If you work an early shift, you’re welcome to stay after you’re finished and sample the chili and free soft drinks. Anyone who works a late shift is welcome to arrive early for a bite to eat before working. We did this last year and had a lot of fun!
