Mission Statement: To support the growth and involvement of RIT faculty and staff age 40 and younger and those interested in furthering the development of young professionals at RIT.
Vision: Young professionals will be engaged and valued at RIT.

The Governance Committee will provide recommendations to the e-board regarding organizational structure, a system/process for elections, membership definitions, and basic bylaws.

- Recruitment Committee:
The Recruitment Committee creates opportunities to promote RITYP at various events so that RIT staff and faculty are more aware of and be more active in RITYP. Contact Don Denz if you are interested.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE:

The Professional Development Committee organizes seminars, workshops, and other professional development programming for our members. In addition, this committee researches and shares information on RIT's existing professional development opportunities.
- Conference Planning Subcommittee:
The Conference Planning Committee organizes the annual RIT Young Professionals in Higher Education Conference. This involves identifying partners, sponsors and speakers, as well as coordinating event logistics. Members and volunteers are always welcomed. Contact Kristi Mitchell if you are interested.
SOCIAL COMMITTEE:

The Social Committee organizes or identifies events to bring members of RIT Young Professionals together for professional networking in social settings, such as happy hours, tailgates, meet-and-greets with other professional groups, and concerts. It is a great way to get to know one another outside of campus and have as much fun as possible while expanding your professional network!
